Bonjour,
En pièces joint vous trouves le contrat signe par La Réunion Aérienne et FFVL.Original in English since my french is far from perfect:Hi,
In June this year I had an accident. I had a collaps in the air and ended up underneath my reserve. Luckily I wasn't hurt and my equipment suffered no damage. Unfortunatly the electicity company, who removed my wing from the electric lines and has restored electricity, claimed 850E expences.
After I forwarded the claims to my insurance - AirCourtage, they paid 350E and left me
with 500E franchise to pay. The clause of this franchise was included in the RC insurance contract around October 2011 and went unnoticed. No matter how it happens, all damages on the ground have a franchise of 500E at Air Courtage!!
In comparison, the insurance with FFCAM has a franchise of only 150E, which is more acceptable.
No matter what insurance you take for 2013, you should also take the FFVL licence

Dear Mrs Lorette,
Could you please provide the paragraph in the conditions of the insurance stating this. I have only found the paragraph stating that the 500e deductible is charged if the damage occurred during landing – but NOT crash landing or FALLING.
Everything that flies in the air has to come down and fall to the ground at one point or other. If an accident occurs in air the it is OBVIOUS that most or all the damages are going to be upon impact with ground. I don't know if you have received my photo's of the accident where one can clearly see the deployed emergency reserve parachute, and also I can provide a GPS track log where it is clearly visible that I FELL to the ground and did not land normally.
If you still insist on the franchise, I will bring this question up to FFVL and their general assembly as well as the French paragliding community. I will also have to consult a lawyer as to the validity of the claims and possible law suits in court before paying anything.
I'm sorry that it has come to this and I think that for the sake of your client's , you should consider revising some of
Best wishes,

Dear Mr Prokic,
The deductible included in your Liability insurance is applicable for all damages occured on the ground, including the damages occured during the landing. The electric lines are on the ground, therefore the deductible is applicable.
Best regards,
Valériane LORETTE

Dear Madame Lorette,
Please be advised that in the insurance policy between FFVL and your company the 500 Euro deductible clause is only taken into consideration upon normal landing procedure and not in falls from the sky. My accident happened, as described in the report, IN THE AIR. The reserve parachute, which is not controllable, was tossed above the ground and the wind carried me and placed me on top of the electric lines. THIS WAS NOT A VOLONTARY LANDING, therefore the whole accident is to be covered by the insurance.
Best regards,
PROKIĆ Djordje

Dear Mr Prokic,
Further to your accident in Germany, we received an invoice from Syna, whose materials have been damaged. You will find this document enclosed.
Your Liability insurance includes a deductible of €500. Therefore, our share of the invoice is €351.56. We will pay this amount to Syna by wire transfer within the next few days. We would be grateful if you could proceed to the payment of the remaining €500 directly to Syna as soon as possible.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any further information.
Best regards,
Valériane LORETTE
