# XCTracer: Edit config file on SD card
# see
https://www.xctracer.com/en/user-manual/?oid=1866&lang=en bluetoothProtocol=LXWP0
forwardGPSSentences=yes
# XCTracer: Start XCTracer
# Kobo mini, BLE HM-10 connected to serial port
# Boot Kobo with installed XCSoar image, it should start to the XCSoar splash screen
# Kobo: Network -> WLAN on, Set up WLAN, connect WLAN
# Kobo: Network -> Start telnet server
# Computer: find out IP address of Kobo (on your router's DHCP or local info)
# telnet to Kobo
# Telnet (Kobo): set baud rate to match HM-10 default
~ # stty -F /dev/ttymxc0 9600 raw
# Kobo: start XCSoar (fly)
# Kobo XCSoar: Config-2 - devices - edit device 1: Port ttymxc0, baud 9600, driver GENERIC
# Kobo XCSoar: Config-2 - devices - Monitor
# Telnet (Kobo): Check connection to HM-10
~ # echo -n AT > /dev/ttymxc0
# Kobo XCSoar monitor: you should see an OK
# Telnet (Kobo): Set up the HM-10 to connect to XCTracer
# (Output on XCSoar Monitor)
# Set verbose notifications to see connections
~ # echo -n AT+NOTI1 > /dev/ttymxc0
# Set HM-10 as Master, but don't start just now
~ # echo -n AT+ROLE1 > /dev/ttymxc0
~ # echo -n AT+IMME1 > /dev/ttymxc0
# Start a BLE discovery. This should find the XCTracer as the n-th device (0, if no other around)
~ # echo -n AT+DISC? > /dev/ttymxc0
# Connect to the device number found
~ # echo -n AT+CONN0 > /dev/ttymxc0
# Configure to start immediately next time
~ # echo -n AT+IMME0 > /dev/ttymxc0
~ # echo -n AT+START > /dev/ttymxc0
-> You should now see the NMEA sentences pouring in to XCSoar from the XCTracer
# Kobo XCSoar: Config-2 - devices: Close the monitor
# Kobo XCSoar: Config-2 - devices: Device A should now get GPS fix
# Kobo XCSoar: Should now work with the incoming data!
