There is NO proof yet he was sucked up - it could have also been the gust front of 50km/h and rotor when he tried to land. The 32,000ft claim noted above is rubbish - no ones knows yet regarding the Chinese pilot. What is certain is that the german pilot Ewa got to around 30,000ft and survived with some frost bite - very lucky ! The conditions were forecast, warned about and obvious to the eye for all pilots - you could see them from launch about 50-70kms to the north- its a shame that some made such a risky choice to fly between 2 cells. The CB's were not moving fast - the radar track shows the main one took 6hrs to travel 50kms ! Some pilots flew east and south to avoid the potential blockage, others landed short to be safe...and some were early and passed by them. There is much discussion about this in town at the moment... I am sure it will arrive on the forum. eddie11: j'aime bien l'interview ou elle dis soudain je me suis retrouvé dans le nuage et ca montait.....non...elle le savais ce qu'il y avait... m'enfin c'est quand meme craignos et surtout le pauvre chinois on en parle pas, ca passe dans la caze: parapente sport ou il y a des morts... donc normal

piwaille:  :grrr2: n'empêche qu'elle a gagné -mi février- le concours de kikabienattaché ses chaussures... bon ... du coup elle aurait ptet mieux fait d'attacher ses oreilles ... dommage elle était migonne... ça sera ptet moins vraie par la suite ... en tout cas elle est vivante.
