Hi guys!

I recently re-discovered Way on the interweb here (https://www.ridair.fr/fr/content/18-ambassadeur-way-gliders)

Unfortunately there is little to nothing I can learn beside that source. No video, no articles in magazines.

I'd like to learn more about the Budy tandem.

A short review of XC mag has been done for the Ruby. How can I learn more about the Budy and of course I'm very eager to find out about a Way wing in the C class or higher.

Cheers

Chris

Hey Chris,

the manufacturer of the brand is located in vosges area, in france. Feel free to contact either CEM (centre ecole du markstein) or Flavio Funiati on social media who is using it as a professional during his tandem flights.

cheers.

Way gliders actually sells rebranded older generation Niviuk gliders.

I am not mistaken their low B is the Hook4, the High B Ruby is the Ikuma1.
So the Budy is probably a Takoo 3 or 4.

Those are well known gliders, which made their reputation so buying way gliders can be worth it if you want a new glider for cheaper, and you don't care about flying the latest wing generations.

Hi, I've flown the Budy for 60 flights (the wing has about 70 flights). It's the equivalent of Niviuk Takoo 4.
If I compare with Ozone Magnum 2 for example :
As to me, the stronger aspect is inflating. The wing is very easy to launch in every conditions, nil or strong wind.
The overall package is very good.
The weaker aspect is landing : the resource is too low and requires technical adaptations.

I hope this information will help you, feel free ton contact me if needed.

Strangely, after 70 flights, the resource has become better. I would be interested to understand why.
