Il y a les crosseurs du Cern qui mettent en route un charter pour décoller depuis anzère et remonter la vallée du Rhône jusqu'a fiesch et éventuellement passer le col de la Furka pour tenter de ralier l'Autriche.. Can this be true? yes i think that could be true - it is not uncommon that people have to take good care to not infringe airspace c at 3950/4650msl the terrain is really up there, so the thermals trigger high... I once flew from Fiesch to Andermatt and the next day I foolishly went west and hit stable air when people flew East all the way to Austria. west can also be difficult because the valley winds reach up _very_ high. especially if the south-west wind blows in. the furka/oberalp pass seem to be the key points to get to chur and further... So I'm interested for Thursday! Le train en Suisse c'est $$$$ mucho. Harglll, j'y vais ou pas?? Faut dire que Fiesch, c'est là que j'ai tutoyer la grande faucheuse avec ma UP Escape il y a.. longtemps. C'est après cette aventure que j'avais abandonné les voiles compet.. C'est aussi là que j'étais monté pour la 1ere fois à 4000m en thermique bleu. C'était en compétition avec une MCC Kestrel en 1989 et j'étais le seul à être monté comme ça.. En fait j'y étais pas pour grand chose. Je m'étais mis au beau milieu d'une confluence. Du coup j'avais eu une légère angoisse et j'étais redescendu en décrochage pendant au moins 5 mn pour rejoindre les potes.. Titre: Re : Plaf à 5200 au fond du valais!!
