It still feels unreal to have pulled off a true looping — without any engine power. I didn’t even know if it was possible, but Beni @speedflyingschool believed it was. After he first mentioned the idea, I had to try. The biggest challenge was to find out of to keep as much speed as possible and to find the best body position to reduce drag. The Moustache I flew was tuned by Beni, It’s much faster than a serial one. That helped a lot! I have no idea if it would work with a serial one as well. After a lot of discussion, video analysis and training, I had a really good attempt, slightly off to the side, but it convinced me: it was possible!🤩 After that, I just had to commit! Massive thanks to Beni for the motivation, the tips, the video, and the wing! We made a bit of paragliding history together. 👊🤟 We can now say it: a full LOOPING is possible with a paraglider!!! 🤩 This is a high risk manoeuvre performed with a special prototype, stay safe guys! Mais il aura fallu près d'un quart de siècle après le 1er tumbling en voile souple tel un parapente pour arriver à ce 1er looping en voile souple même si c'est un parakite, l'exploit est du même tonneau.
